Position Summary:

This position is remote but will provide individual and group educational sessions in jails or at other secure locations across the State of Kansas for court-ordered competency restoration cases and competency evaluation as ordered by the District Courts in Kansas. This position will also provide education on competency restoration and treatment and work with multiple agencies in Kansas, to coordinate and collaborate to provide services as assigned. The person in this position must demonstrate age- and culture-specific interactions and be competent in the provision of services needed as described in LSH’s policies and procedures. This position works remotely work off LSH campus and entails traveling to county jails and settings throughout the state to provide services and can provide supervision/oversight remotely for evaluations at LSH. Work will be dynamic and this individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters (LMLP or LCP) or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology to: Masters or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology and licensed in the State of Kansas as either a LMLP, LCP, or LP

1-year experience in completing forensic evaluations
