Join us at the Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle library on October 13th from 2-3pm for our Nature Art Therapy program.
In our Nature Art Therapy program, we will “craft” a place of sanctuary to feel protected and nurtured using natural and craft materials. We’ll start with a short mindfulness and meditation practice (feel free to bring a yoga mat with you!). Then we will go outside to gather leaves, twigs, rocks and other materials to help us create. After creating our craft, we will wrap up our time together by responding to reflective writing prompts about nature.
Feel free to bring your own materials for crafting or a personal notebook for responding to our prompts. Materials will also be provided.
This activity is inspired by the work of Thirsty For Art. You can find more info about her work here.
