The youth services department at Main Library is having a blast with this year’s Tails and Tales themed Summer Reading Program and would love for you all to join! We are having weekly crafts and activities all summer long. All readers ages 18 and under are invited to join our Summer Reading Program. Every 100 minutes read earns a free book (up to six books per person). To register or learn more about this program, visit http://kckpl.beanstack.org/reader365.

Here are the activities we have this week at Main July 12th-July 17th:

Blobfish Slime

Bring this mysterious deep sea creature home. Learn fun and interesting facts about the blobfish as you create a slime version.

Clay Animal Magnets Pins

Use your imagination to create a unique animal face from clay to use as a cute pin or magnet! Decorate your outfit or your room with this fun, easy animal craft!
