Candy Corn Cereal Treats

4 T butter

1 bag mini marshmallows

5 cups rice cereal

10 oz almond bark

Food coloring

Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add bag of marshmallows and stir until melted. Add a few drops of orange food coloring and stir. Pour marshmallow mixture over the rice cereal and mix until incorporated. Pour into lightly greased round cake pan and press gently with the back of a measuring cup until smooth. Let cool until set, then remove from pan and cut into 8 sections.

Melt chopped almond bark in a bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water on the stove. Almond bark can also be melted in the microwave- simply microwave for 30 seconds and stir, repeating until bark is melted and smooth. Dip the pointed end of each treat into the almond bark, making sure to cover the top and sides. Add yellow food coloring into the remaining almond bark and stir. Dip the wide end of each treat into the yellow almond bark. Place on parchment or wax paper to cool until set.

Need to use up any leftover almond bark? Simply sandwich your favorite seed or nut butter between two saltines and cover with melted bark. Add sprinkles and let cool. These can be stored in a container in the fridge or freezer.
