Finding help paying for your education can seem overwhelming when you are trying to get ready for college or career school. It does not need to be so. Federal Student Aid website will walk you through how financial aid works, resources to pay for college, and loan repayment options.
There are individual state deadlines and a Federal deadline for submitting your FAFSA. For 2021-2022 academic year, you need to submit all forms by 11:59 p.m. Central time (CT) on June 30, 2022. Any corrections or updates must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on Sept. 10, 2022 according to studentaid.gov website.
To help students and their families to navigate all the options available, we invited Kathy Bryant, Director of TRIO – Educational Opportunities Centers of KU Center for Educational Opportunity Programs to offer a session for all interested in getting financial aid.
Join us on October 22 at 1pm as we explore options for going to college. This educational program is for adults aged 19 and older who may be looking for a job or who may be interested in going back to school. Returning to school could be attending a Career/Technical School, a community college or a university. Find out how to pay for school and find out if you are eligible for a Pell Grant.
